Moriarty Elementary

The MES Winter Concerts are this Wednesday, Dec. 10th at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Moriarty High School.

K-2nd will begin at 5:00pm, and 3rd-5th will begin at 6:00pm. All K-2nd grade students need to arrive at 4:40, and 3rd-5th grade students should arrive at 5:45.

When students arrive, parents will escort them to a designated area in the PAC to allow them to get ready to go on stage with their teachers and staff. Kindergarten parents will pick-up students right after the performance inside the PAC, and all other grades will pick-up their students after the concert.

Everyone is invited to the PTO Luminaria Stroll outside the PAC. Each student has created a luminaria to have on display for this evening. PTO will serve hot cocoa and cookies in the High School commons area after each concert.

MES Thanksgiving Lunch is next Thursday, Nov. 20th. Lunch times will be as follows: Kindergarten at 11:00, 2nd Grade at 11:20, 4th grade at 11:40, 3rd grade at 12:00, 1st grade at 12:20, and 5th grade at 12:40. Lunch is $5 per adult. Cash only. We look forward to seeing you next Thursday.

Literacy Day & Book Fair are next week! Join us for Literacy Day on Thursday, Oct. 23rd for fun activities, lunch, & Book Fair shopping! Students who bring money for Book Fair will have shopping times each day. Book Fair will be open for family shopping on Thursday during Literacy Day!

Today is a normal release time of 3:00 pm. Next Wednesday, August 13th will be our first early release at 2:00 pm. Today is the first day of kindergarten. Please be patient as we will have a lot of end of day pickups today and the rest of the week.

2nd day of school reminders: All students being dropped off this morning will need to be dropped off in the drop off line. Students will not be walked to class. We have staff available to walk students to class as needed. Have a great day!

1st Day of School Reminders for Tomorrow for 1st-5th Grade: Drop off begins at 7:55. Be patient with drop off and pick up the first week of school. Have your pick up number visible from your vehicle to help pick-up run smoothly. Lastly, students are not allowed to have cell phones or any wireless devices (i.e. smart watches) at school. They are to remain at home, or off and inside a backpack.
