MESD will be closed on Monday, January 20th, 2025, Martin Luther King Jr Day.


With an increase in illness, just a reminder to keep students home if they present with symptoms of illness. If your child has a fever, persistent cough, vomiting, or rash, keep them home. Please help us keep all students and staff healthy and safe!


After school clubs will begin next week, Jan. 21st! Please register your child here: https://forms.gle/FeMsFQgYnYQ5aDrA7. You will need to complete a separate registration for each child and each club of their choice. Clubs will be limited to 15 students and spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Student Leadership, Razzle Dazzle, Basketball, Bible Club, and RGEC will continue as normal.

Registration for second semester clubs will be sent to families mid-January, and 2nd semester clubs will begin in late January. All students interested in clubs this semester will register once club options are finalized and sent to all families. Reminder: Clubs from last semester will not continue meeting this week or the weeks that follow.

The MES Winter Concerts are this Wednesday, Dec. 18th at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Moriarty High School. K-2nd will begin at 5:00pm, and 3rd-5th will begin at 6:00pm. We need all K-2nd grade students to arrive at 4:40, and 3rd-5th grade students should arrive at 5:45. When students arrive, parents will escort them to a designated area in the PAC to allow them to get ready to go on stage with their teachers and staff. Parents can sit anywhere they would like in the auditorium to enjoy the concerts. Parents will pick-up their students from the same designated area after the concert.
Everyone is invited to our PTO Luminaria Stroll at MES at the conclusion of each concert to enjoy refreshments and concessions, visit Santa, and stroll through our luminaria decorated campus! Each student has created a luminaria to have on display for this evening.

PTO Family Bingo Night is tomorrow, Nov. 15th at 5:30pm! Join us for a fun night of Bingo, snacks and great prizes! Tomorrow is also popcorn and pickles. Popcorn is $1, and pickles are $0.50.

After School Pick-Up Reminders: All students must be picked up through the pick-up line. Parents cannot park in the parking lot to pick up their student from the pick up line. after school.
Popcorn & Pickles tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 25th. Each student can spend up to $2.00. Popcorn is $1.00, and Pickles are $0.50.
Halloween: Students can wear their costumes to school next Thursday, Oct. 31st for Halloween. Trunk or Treat will begin at 1:00, and classroom parties will follow. Parents are welcome to join us at 1:00pm. All visitors must sign in at the front office.
