Book Fair starts this week! Students will browse to create their wish lists today and tomorrow. Grade-levels will have open shopping times Wednesday-Friday! Family shopping times are Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:30, and Wednesday until 3:00. Book Fair will close at noon on Friday, Oct. 18th.

Thursday, Oct. 10th is Remote Learning. Students will not come to school. Students will work on remote learning packets at home, and/or join live Google Meet sessions with their teachers.

October marks National Principals Month! Throughout this month, we invite the entire MESD community to celebrate and express gratitude for our principals' hard work and dedication. Our principals do a fabulous job building relationships with students and providing guidance and support. Reminder: Student drop off begins at 7:55 am. Students cannot be released from their vehicle before staff are on duty at 7:55 each morning. For the safety of all students, our school procedures do not permit students to be dropped off before 7:55, or walking students to their classroom or the cafeteria in the morning. Parents who wish to park and walk their students to the front door may do so.

Join the Pinto Football Team for flag football!
MHS football coaches and players will work with students in Kindergarten - 6th grade on fundamental skills and then play games on teams according to age and ability.
Sessions are Thursday nights for the next four weeks from 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm at the MHS Football field. Students will receive a t-shirt at the last session. $15.00 per child
Tomorrow night is our MES night at the Moriarty High School Football game. All students have a ticket for free admission. Arrive by 6:40 to be on the field cheering for the Pintos before kickoff. Check your email for information on our School-Based Health Center and our September Remote Learning Day!
After school clubs will begin next week! Please register your child here: https://forms.gle/pV3Vaz7Mmkv7D4Zp6. You will need to complete a separate registration for each child and each club of their choice. Clubs will be limited to 15 students and spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

Tomorrow, Friday Aug. 2nd is our Meet and Greet! All 1st-5th grade families have a scheduled time to come and meet with their child's teacher. If you still need to schedule a time, please call the front office at 832-4927. We are excited for our first day of school on Monday, Aug. 5th (Wed. Aug 7th for Kindergarten). Morning drop off begins at 7:55 each day. Please check your email for more information!
We are excited to start another school year! Your child's teacher will reach out to schedule a Meet & Greet time for this Friday, August 2nd. We are providing all school supplies for students, they only need to bring a backpack! Early Release Wednesday will begin on August 14th, with a *new* dismissal time of 2:15 pm! We are excited to see you on August 5th for the first day of school (Aug. 7th for Kindergarten)!
